6 Simple Steps to Disable Windows Defender Permanently

Windows defender is the build in anti virus for windows. It protects your computer for viruses like ransomware, spyware and other forms of unwanted malwares. There are times that windows defender conflicts with software that you need to run. Having a third party anti virus software atomically disabled the windows defender. I used icafe8 to run my diskless server but I have to disable it permanently to run icafe8. In windows 10 you don't have the option to uninstall it or disable it permanently you have to edit in group policy or edit some registry.

In this tutorial I will show how to disable windows defender using GROUP POLICY:

1. In the search key in gpedit.msc

2. In Local Group Policy click Administrative Templates

3. Select Windows Components.

4. Select Windows Defender.

5. Select Turn off Windows Defender.

6. Tick Disabled hit apply and ok.

YOUR WINDOWS DEFENDER IS NOW DISABLED. PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW FOR BETER UNDERSTANDING.
